Said in prayer...

By Tanner.

"Please help mommy not to be fussy."
and
"Please help me to keep my clothes on at church." FYI- he de-clothed a bit a couple weeks ago and Ryan & I were not happy. It's not like it's hot outside- it's the middle of January.

Exactly what does "de-clothe" entail? You've peaked my curiosity! At least he's trying to stay clothed now. And the prayer for you . . . don't we love the honesty of our kids? Doesn't he know that a pregnant mommy has the right to be fussy?!

Tanner we love you!

When mom's 'fussy' the whole family is 'fussy' - tell Tanner that all kids mom's are 'fussy' at times, especially pregnant moms.

In regards to the disrobing - has he been lifting weights/working out and wanted to show off his physique to a cute girl in the ward?

Hahaha. James and Andrew declothe completely and run around ranting about their "birthday suits" They then take the opportunity to slap each others bare butts... so far not at church yet though.

Hopefully you have nipped that practice in the bud! Tanner should pray for patience and understanding for his 'fussy mom' :) You still amaze me Lacey

Sounds like your household is a lot more exciting than ours. Don't you love hearing Tanner's prayers? Alexis and Lauren always seem to say what is on their minds. Like..please help mom to clean up the house before Dad gets home.

Lacey I look forward to your delivery day so that I too can be surprised on the gender of your baby! I can't wait.

Tanner- Your Aunt Melissa loves you! I think your Mommy was "fussy" last week too! :) Just kidding! Is he learning something from Emma?

let me know if you have success on the stripping thing- i can not keep clothes on my micahlyn for anything. i even tried turning the heat off one day, isaac and i wore sweaters, it didn't even phase her.

What a sweet prayer! Sebastian always tries to de-clothe during church, or begs, "Can I take off my church shirt?" Don't feel so bad though, Sebastian decided to pee right outside the entrance at church, and in full view of a member of the high council. Juan and I were definitely NOT happy.

Kids say the funniest things--which makes us smile and thus we are happy.:)

I think all mom's are fussy. It's just cute that he realizes it and prayed for you to stop. I love kids and their tell-it-like-it-is quality.

I hope you are feeling well. I heard from Krisit you were coming over for the Super Bowl bash. I hope you had a great time. We would have loved to join you, but it started too late for a school night. We'll have to plan a trip to Louisville in the near future.

And I also wanted to say that Vicki's blog looks beautiful and I am sure you had a hand in Kristi's. You have such talent and have shared so much of your time helping others. Something that has blessed everyone, but I am sure has taken HOURS away from the kiddos and stressed you out at moments. You are a remarkable person who gives and loves. You are an example to me and everyone you meet!

Have a great day!

Cheryl

I love it! I think moms are entitled to a little bit of fussing... I also think it's hilarious that he mentioned it in his prayer. Listening to kids pray is the best--they're always so heartfelt and HONEST!!
