Although we had no family near to help bless him, I knew I could not wait for the time when we did. We have many good friends here that helped- and many more that have been so good to us in the past few weeks since his arrival. Ryan blessed him to "be strong and weather the storms of life." My heart was happy.
(I had Jackson at the doctor the day before. He weighed in at 12.6 and the 90th percentile. I wish he would stay small forever- just 7 short weeks ago he was at 6.6 in the hospital.)

Sooo cute! I am glad the blessing went so well. And thanks for the tip on the background- we are definitly new at this so any help is great! Hope you and your cute family are doing great!

What a sweet picture of your kids! I hate missing out on all the happenings because of the distance, but I love that you take soo many pictures to keep everyone up to speed.
We never have had any family close. None of my family are members. All I can say is how grateful I have always been for the support of our ward family.
Lay- How I wish I were there! By the time I meet him he will be a moose! :) I miss you!
he is huge! logan is 11 weeks and weighs 12 lbs 8 ozs! he is super cute, congrats!
Your kids are so darling! What handsome boys and what a beautiful daughter. I think it can be better without family. Less stress when you don't have houseguests and extra mouths to feed and entertain. I had to feed 60 people after Andrew's blessing and decided it was a curse for a new mom.:)
What cute kids you have.:)
What a sweet picture. Glad the blessing went well. Thank goodness for ward family in times like those!
congrats! we missed you at the reunion. next year right?
Hey Lacey-
So...we need to catch up! How's it all going? When do you find out where you will be for fellowship? I am hoping for San Antonio, selfishly!
