Goodbye April

The month was full.

With Easter, Emma's Birthday Party, Tanner's 9th Birthday, Swim team, swim lessons, soccer, scouts & Pinewood Derby, & Ryan gone for a week Allergy training, doctor appointments, my stake's Emergency Preparedness fair for which I had to work on the "square foot gardening" booth, tending some kids while their moms were in labor, and getting organized and sewing for the baby, I still managed to get away for 3 days for a "Sisters Weekend".

Emma played on an almost all boy team- she and one other girl. It was not her favorite. She did not like, "having to run so much and all the pushing." But, at the last game she made a goal by outrunning all those boys! Her dad was proud.

Swim lessons on base & where Tanner has been on swim team for the past 4 months.

Tanner turned 9. We had a quiet birthday for him. He did get cupcakes brought into his classroom. I was gone. Ryan handled the bakery boxes and little kids well. I thought for sure one of the kids would have got loose at the school or the cupcakes would have fallen. But everything went smooth. Tanner got a Wii scuba game and a metal detector.

And a giant breakfast donut too...

That Jackson climbed up and got into.

opening presents and telling jackson what it was

PineWood Derby. Tanner also finished his Wolf requirements! He moves up a year.

His star wars lego car. Thought up by Tanner, assisted by his Dad. Who took it to the hospital and weighed it over and over on the lab scales. It won some and lost some, but was the only car awarded a certificate for having "The Force."

Not wanting to nap anymore, but can't quite make it through the day.

And lastly, thank you Melissa for planning our sister getaway. My mom and her sister, Julie, came too. Julie told people she was my moms 4th daughter present. And since my sisters and I are all pregnant again, -she came off looking like the skinny sister. Which she always is. But still, never good to rub into pregnant ladies. We just ate more to make it all better.

I started crying when I saw all those photos of your kids (our friends)and Gage called me a big baby. But, he did want me to turn back to the photo of Emma playing soccer so I know he misses you too.

Seriously your April looks just like ours...same with our May. This time of year is crazy. At least it makes the pregnancy go by faster.

Your AFB there is darling. I would totally want to live in those houses. I've never seen such a cute base. I loved living on base.

You are one busy lady! Sister's weekend sounded really fun. Getting away is so great, and to be able to do it with your sister's, mom, and a fun aunt makes it even more fun. No pic's of all the girl fun??? :)
