Worth Mentioning

- Landon was officially inducted into Nursery today. He did well, and certainly better than his older brother and sister ever did. Ryan reminded me we have a 3 month break until the new baby comes and I realized I am very unprepared and it stressed me a bit to hear it stated in such a way. So please don't.

- Baby #4 is still nameless.

- We had a pretty solo sang at church today. The song was sang so well and it was moving (thank you Holly!) . Emma noticed right away and turned to the pulpit to watch the singer and then looked at me and said, "Aghhh, like Cinderella!" and the singer was wearing a color that resembled purple and then she added, "A purple Cinderella!" The sweet spirit the singer brought touched my heart and even my little Emma's. I could tell- and what greater compliment could someone ever get from an almost 3 year old? Is not that the highest compliment ever?

- Emma tries to lift me when she wants me to do something for her right away and then says, "You're too heavy!". Great. I'll take the Cinderella compliment please.

- I'm working on scheduling Tanner for some week-long Summer camps. Just 2 or maybe 3. I just have no idea what to expect with my life. I will have a newborn, of which Ryan won't be able to take time off from work at all to help (and so Grandma Stephens/Mom you HAVE to come please!) And then a family reunion with just a 2 or 3 week old baby in California and then one in Idaho and Ryan has to fly back early for work. So, am I insane to think that I can travel all over the place with 4 kids but 2 of them lap children? That stresses me more than a bit. I'll stop thinking about it for the moment.

How lucky we are to each have a princess in our home - their hearts are so tender and pure. I'm glad that Heavenly Father sent them to us!

ps - you are insane and that's why I love you so much!! You make other moms envious of all you accomplish. You will be able to travel with them - I'm available while you are in CA to help!!

Somehow, someway you ALWAYS seem to not only manage but to pull everything off flawlessly. Don't spend too much time worrying about the summer now- it just won't do any good.

PS I wish I would be around to help you this summer- Just one more reason that families should always live close together.

My sweet Lacey girl. You ARE in flight and headed for a collision with craziness for sure. I can tell you that you will be fine and survive that first year with baby boy child #4. I can also tell you that a time will come when you will look back on this time in your life and only smile. keep a journal--especially during these years--for lots of sweet memories and to see a very clear vision of His hand daily in your life. I can hardly wait for this E-ride to start. Remember, I am always there--one of your biggest fans! I am so proud of you and all you do. You have been such a gift.

I loved Emma at church yesterday. Not only did she have the cutest dress on ever (Molly will be her twin all summer), but she colored and read books with her bright pink sunglasses on. Too cute.

It's going to be a hard summer for you. I had Molly in the summer and my kids were home and bored a lot of the time. They watched a lot of movies and played in the sprinkler a ton. We'll take Emma and Tanner to the pool with us whenever you need a break.

Wow - that is crazy. I know I wouldn't want to fly with my two kids but then the thought of driving from CA to ID is even worse. Good luck - take naps while you're around family and they can play with the kids!!!

What busy times! I can't believe baby #4 will arrive in just three months. Obviously I'm not the one pregnant! It always goes by much faster when you are the friend.

I loved Emma's comments. She so cute and very aware. She's a doll.

Good luck with the summer camps. That sounds like a good idea. I had the girls during Rich's general surgery intern year. Yeah, it was NUTS, but you'll get through. We just moved home to Utah for 2 months while our home sold. You just do what you can.

And one quick question about lap infants since we've been doing it for TOO many years. You won't be traveling alone will you? FYI- they won't let 2 lap infants in the same row because of the oxygen masks. There is only enough for 1 extra child per row. That's just to help you plan. I REALLY hope you're not doing it alone. That would make you crazy/brave/superwoman in my book! Anyway, just a thought.

Good times!

your Emma is an angel! I love her to pieces, and I will be her purple cinderella any day!

Ok, Ok, I am stressed out just THINKING about you on a plane with four kids by yourself. Please, please, please, get someone to help you. Bribe your mom, your sister, your visiting teacher, anyone. I don't care how many quarts of Graeters ice cream you have to mail in order to bribe them, it will be WELL worth it!
