He Placed in Weird Science

Ryan's research project this past month:
"Healthcare Associated Pneumonia Treated as Community Acquired Pneumonia Compared to Community Acquired Pneumonia Patients Treated with the same Therapy."

Yep. That's it in a nutshell. He won 3rd place in his conference and has an invitation to go to Washington DC in May. There he will present again.

I am hoping to join him, without the kids. I have a babysitter (mom please come) in mind.

Don't you love when you see your spouse succeed? And excel too? But, the best part for me is that I have this best friend and husband and father that no matter what success he has, puts us first. Always. 100% non-negotiable. That's what makes him the gold ribbon, first place, grand prize. And he didn't even have to win the 3rd place for me to know it.

Lacey I am so proud of Dr. Man but too, so glad that you have the "best"--I'd say that Ryan also has the "best" with you. Hey, I am excited for you both to attend the conference--sounds like it will be a whole new world of information--who would guess. I am just glad he doesn't talk like that--anywho I am maybe even a bit more excited to come take care of my grandkids--it's on my calendar already. :)

Yeah!! Does Ryan know how many people are so proud of him?! It will be nice for you two to get away alone in May- even if it is to a boring medical conference :)

It is not surprising about Ryans most recent accomplishment. That is wonderful and exciting.I too have learned that when our husbands put family first, (which Matt has done from day one of our marriage) everything seems to fall in place and the successes seem to continue. Isn't it amazing how that happens? We both know how busy our husbands can be at times.
A big congratulations to Ryan!
Love,
Lisa
p.s. Lacey, Tanner is so funny. That was a cute thing he said when you accidently broke your knew waffle maker.Though I haven't seem in since St. Vincent, I can just hear him saying that!

Congratulations Ryan. That is a huge accomplishment. When you think about all the brainiacs that also submitted papers, it's incredible.
