Was it clear over the crying? Over Emma's weaping and wailing (that went on for another 5 minutes)? Yes, she did want a sister, and I am going to be the mother of 3 little boys. I never thought it would be!
Is it bad that I'm totally laughing? ! Your sweet little Emma. Congrats on another boy. I secretly want three boys and a girl. :) I'm so excited for you guys. congrats again!
So excited for y'all...poor emma, though! Thanks for letting us live vicariously...and thanks for not making us wait another day, let alone 5 more months! ~Shawna
That may not be intentionally hillarious...BUT IT IS!! My Emma did the same thing when I told her Davey was a boy. Cried like a baby saying she wanted another sister. What to do? CONGRATS!
I'm so glad you opened that for emma. :) Just think of the scene at the hospital!! Now she has a few months to realize another brother will be GREAT. You know how I feel about BOYS...I'm thrilled for you!
Lacey - it must be in the Louisville water - me, Traci, and Heather. Welcome to the club. That reaction is classic, and both sweet and hilarious. I am so happy for you!!
That is the best. We don't do video--don't have a camera and mostly I don't care. But that is classic--surely that should be played at baby brothers wedding someday!!!!
Three boys are awesome! Someone once said to me that maybe I got boys because I had such a great Priesthood example in my home and it made me grateful for Reed and my boys--plus my boys love their mom, flaws and all.
Lacey, congratulations!!! I sure love my baby boy, I had no idea how fun little boys are! You are the perfect mom to raise boys... they will make great missionaries, husbands, and fathers because of your (oh, and Ryan's;)) example. Their wives will be so lucky!!
Lacey- Okay this is weird. I don't even know you, but I feel like I do because so many of my good old kentucky friends talk about how fun and sweet you are. So I was snooping on your blog and watched your video of you telling the sex of your baby and seriously thought the reaction of your kids was HILARIOUS. So I just had to say something. I promise I'm not a stalker. Enjoy kentucky, because I sure miss it a lot. Congrats on your baby. sorry, I hope you don't think I'm weird!! Jen G.
I was trying to watch the video clip yesterday, and ironically one of my children was crying. I wanted to leave a comment but had to attend to my children. It was a neat thing to see your family gathered together. Congratulations on your 4th child and 3rd son! I think that Seth can relate with Emma in some ways. She will be well taken care of by her brothers!
In our house we have 4 boys, and 1 girl. When Maddy found out that Max was a boy- she totally cried. With Charlie, she was okay. And with Jack she was so happy! She realized there are some benefits to being the only girl!
And when I was 4, my mom had my 4th brother... and I totally cried about it.
But I don't have to tell you how great little boys are... and your little family is so cute! Thanks for sharing such a great moment, and for not making me wait any longer! You're the best!
WELCOME TO CUB SCOUTS!!! You will have YEARS of pinewood derby's and cub camp. It's the BEST!!! I love boys. There is something between a mom and their son. Congratulations!!!
Congratulations! I love having my 3 boys and being the only girl with 5 brothers growing up has serious advantages, though little Emma is a bit too young to realize the perks. Such happy news!
Love my husband. And the 5 kids he gave me. And my family. And the good friends I have found along the way. Know I am a daughter of God. Love the gospel. Moved all over, lived in the West Indies, my husband became a doctor, and now, I'm an Air Force wife.

Congratulations! You know I love boys, and I know Emma will too as soon as she gets used to the idea.
That last post was from Cherie. I was changing my blog setup and put the name in the wrong place.

Emma will love being the princess of the house! Once she realizes she won't have to share the bathroom, clothes, or her mommy's attention.
She may have been a little sad, but it seemed like she started crying once she heard Landon crying???
The video is priceless.:)

Emma will definitely be the princess. I love how she looks at the picture and exclaims "girl!" Congratulations on boy #3!

I was laughing so hard that my eyes were watering !! That poor Emma- She'll eventually see that benefits of being the only girl...
Tell Emma she can come visit girls at my house ANYTIME! Congrats to you on boy #3. Steve would be SO jealous.
