Snow Day

No school yesterday.
But, I was visit taught (and tutored on how to use my new slr camera. Thanks talented 1 and talented 2 visiting teachers.)
Pizza and hot chocolate.
4 Valentines for girls and 4 for boys, handmade (per Tanner's assignment).
There was sledding on ice (it rained).
Breakfast for dinner.
Tanner read a complete 24 page book- an accomplishment for us all.

Go Tanner on the reading! From what we talked about I know this is a big thing! Yeah! We wished we had another snow day today too -- just a 2 hour delay for us.

I got a huge box packed -- all of the towels and bedding we don't use. OK, that didn't sound so big -- but really it was big! We have a lot! I'm working on my bathroom and there's hair and makeup stuff all over the floor. Josh really enjoys walking through the landmine and since I'm posting this comment instead of working on it -- he'll get to walk through it in the morning too!

Oh, and I'd love to come watch Pres. Hinckley's funeral . . .

That is awesome about Tanner reading. It's so fun when they can read--you can have them read to the younger ones and kill two birds with one stone.

I LOVE the new template. Pink and Black are darling together.

We might have some snow gear that we grew out that I can pass your way. Our bin is over flowing--Rusty thinks it's a priority to have snow pants, boot, etc. (probably due to growing up in Utah). So I'm always buying that stuff at garage sales,on sale, etc.

Cute pictures as well.

Perfect day! You have to enjoy those random days off when you get them. And really who could complain with pizza, hot chocolate, and pancakes for dinner?! Love it!

Congrats to Tanner reading. That is always a happy day.

Love the new blog look. Your creativity never ceases to amaze me.

And I popped on over to your practice blog and used a few Valentine clip art pics. Hope you don't mind. You always have access and pick the cutest things.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day. Hope Ryan's night at work goes by FAST!

I love how they cancel school around here for like an inch of snow. It's been so cold though. Whenever I'm freezing I compare to Utah State days and then I feel warmer. Man was it cold in Logan. Anyway, love my template and love yours too. Glad you had a fun and relaxing day. I might have to go make me some cocoa, you make that look very tempting!

Lacey you always seem to have fun days, even when it doesn't snow. I'll never forget all of the good times we had being neighbors in St. Vincent. Alexis still talks about your yummy bowls of Mac & Cheese or just the fact that she always wanted to go to YOUR house and play. You are a great mom! I love your new blog look! Happy Valentines Day!

I always love all the templates that you choose! I can't believe how big you kids are getting- how about a picture of Mom's growing tummy?
Yeah for Tanner's reading- I know how much my kids stuggle with reading.

So, your Indian friend helped you get two side bars. I might have to talk to this guy. Unless, of course, you figured it out yourself. That's probably the real story. Thanks for letting us join in on your perfect day. My boys loved it.
