(June 20th)
This baby has rocked our world. And I am not just talking about the parenting adjustment we went through as parents, I'm talking about a major world rocking to our other kids. Throughout this year they could not hold, help, kiss, comfort, and move fast enough to please this baby girl.
She has Tanner wrapped around her finger- and I am so touched watching his pleasure in being able to come home to her and greet her with, "beautiful baby girl, how was your day?"
She has been completely adored.
She has been swooned over.
She drove us all crazy crying in the car.
She's given the best bite, the favored toy, the best compliments, and the source of everyone's pride with the arrival of a new tooth to learning to crawl backwords downstairs to her first steps.
She wants the baby if she sees it, still favors a binky and lovie cloth, and wants every book to be hers.
She scratches. She pinches. She pulles hair. She bites Jackson- just at the right time when no ones expecting it.
She wears size 3 diapers- by far our tiniest at this age. Her hair is wild and she has been known to be called a "hot mess" most meal times.
She puckers for kisses, ignores strangers with a head turn always, the dad at our home is hers first. She cannot be happier than when she sees him come home from work.
We moved when she was 3 days old. I essentially had 4 kids almost full time last year. It was a demanding year. I wish I could capture those new moments with her and freeze them- they seemed more than the others to get lost in our families crowd.
But, she is our sissy girl with a large personality in a tiny body. I knew I had one more girl in me-
she really was what our home has needed.
