For some reason I have been blessed with heavenly visiting teachers over the past few years. (Hi Stephanie and Carla! Hello Holly!)
Both my visiting teachers in Kentucky happened to live right across the street from me. Kathryn of Little Nanny Goat, and Traci, aka- "neighba-lady" of Amazing Mae were "assigned" to me. From delivering upside down pizza dinners when I was sick, letting our kids roam the street together, and phone calls letting me know about those pork roasts on sale for Cafe Rio, my life became daily interweaved with them. So many of my Kentucky friends became "like" family. And even a year later, I still miss my life there. (It's still a bit lonely here on occasion- not been on one girls night out!)
Traci lovingly hosted a surprise baby shower by mail for me. Who needs a shower by there 5th baby! Not really anyone I'd say. And I'm not even her assignment anymore... I am so undeserving of this good sweet Kentucky love. Thank you dear Traci. I still wish I'd hear those little Gage knocks over here!

and these two little darling handmade dresses. Made each by Traci and Melissa. I actually saw Melissa's Tuesday Tutorial where she made a stroller quilt and thought it was so sweet- little did I know it would make it's way to me! Oh thank you Melissa!
I tried to picture everything... but it was just too much. I know some of you were busy moving and were certainly busy with your families, and church callings/camp commitments. Thank you each for your gifts. You are all too much! You touched my heart... and I love you all.

I had another dream last night that you were still across the street. I had you come over because Amy, Angela, and someone else (I can't remember) were over and we wanted you to come over and hang out. I think I have a dream that you come back or are still living here once a month! A little weird, but I guess it means that I think about you all often and hope that maybe you really are moving back. Doesn't Fort Knox need an Air Force man? I am jus saying. You have to know how many friends jumped at the chance to do something for you and were soooo excited to do it. We would fly you back if we could. We love you so much. Tell little girl to come quickly so that we can meet her and so that you feel better. Love you mucho.
Of course you are the recipient of a baby shower in a box - everyone LOVES you and admires, appreciates, and adores you! You are a gift to many of us!!
I'm so glad that you opened it, but even more glad that she has arrived. We love love love you. Wish I could visit you and take your children. Can't wait to hear more about this sweet bundle.
